Force Motors, Rosmerta Recycling partner
Date: 22 Oct 2026
Rosmerta Auto Recycling Pvt.
Ltd. has partnered with Force Motors Limited to facilitate the authorised
scrapping of End-of-Life (ELV) vehicles. The partnership will give Force
Motors’ customers access to Rosmerta’s Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF),
providing a defined route for retiring vehicles that have reached the end of
their useful life.
Under the partnership,
eligible vehicles will be taken through the required documentation and
scrapping process at Rosmerta’s facility. This will include depollution and
dismantling, followed by the segregation and recovery of materials that can be
recycled.
Especially for commercial
vehicle owners, vehicle replacement is closely linked to the efficiency and
upkeep of their fleets. Once a vehicle reaches the end of its useful life,
ensuring that it is scrapped through an authorised facility is equally important.
It allows the vehicle to be taken off the road through the appropriate process
while giving its components and materials an opportunity to re-enter the
recycling chain.
The partnership will also help
bring greater awareness among Force Motors customers about authorised vehicle
scrapping and the benefits of choosing registered facilities over informal
disposal. The companies will work towards making the process easier for vehicle
owners looking to retire their ageing vehicles.
Commenting on the partnership,
Prasan Firodia, Managing Director, Force Motors Limited, said, “A vehicle goes
through several stages during its operating life, and responsible disposal is
an important part of that journey. Through our association with Rosmerta
Recycling, we aim to provide our customers with an authorised and dependable
option when their vehicles reach the end of their useful life. This also
complements our broader sustainability efforts, which include improving
resource efficiency, reducing waste and promoting responsible recycling across
our operations. We hope this partnership will encourage greater awareness and
adoption of organised vehicle scrappage and recycling.”
Kartick V. Nagpal, President,
Rosmerta Group, said, “The success of vehicle scrappage depends not only on
having the right infrastructure, but also on making that infrastructure
accessible to vehicle owners. Our partnership with Force Motors gives their customers
a clear route to an authorised scrapping facility. Once a vehicle reaches our
facility, we can safely depollute and dismantle it and recover materials such
as steel and aluminium for recycling. This helps ensure that the value in an
old vehicle is not lost and can find its way back into the wider manufacturing
cycle.”
A simpler route for vehicle
scrappage
Through the partnership,
eligible Force Motors customers will be able to access Rosmerta’s RVSF for the
end-of-life processing of their vehicles.
The facility will support:
• Processing of eligible
End-of-Life commercial vehicles
• Assistance with vehicle and
ownership documentation
• Generation of the
Certificate of Deposit (CoD), wherever applicable
• Depollution and dismantling
of vehicles
• Segregation and recovery of
recyclable materials
• Compliance with applicable
vehicle scrappage and recycling requirements
• Processing of recovered
materials for recycling and further use
• Generation and transfer of
Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) credits, where applicable
The process provides vehicle
owners with documentation at different stages of scrappage and ensures that
vehicles are handled at an authorised facility rather than being disposed of
through informal channels.
